UNESCO’s call for inputs on draft principles of open science monitoring
Following the international workshop Building an Open Science Monitoring Framework with Open Technologies held in December 2023 at UNESCO, and the recently launched Open Science Monitoring Initiative (OSMI), led by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the University of Lorraine and Inria and joined by UNESCO, UNESCO has now launched a call for inputs on the draft principles for open science monitoring.
This worldwide consultation on common Principles for Open Science Monitoring aims to facilitate broader engagement and ensure diverse perspectives are incorporated into a global vision for monitoring open science. It builds on existing and ongoing initiatives for open science monitoring at national, regional and global levels.
To contribute to the consultation, inputs are welcomed as commentary and/or proposed edits, and should be sent to osmi@unesco.org, by 30 November 2024.
