Research data – how to choose a trusted repository
News from the Committee
18/11/2023
The Committee for Open Science’s Research Data College has proposed a methodology to help members of scientific communities select a repository for opening or sharing their data. The methodology is based on a list of 8 description criteria (disciplinary field, possibility of embargo, etc.) and 7 exclusion criteria (permanent identifiers not assigned, no moderation of repositories, etc.).
An initial list of trusted repositories will be published shortly and will be subsequently added to thanks to the Research Data College’s work and reports from the scientific community.
