20The Sorbonne University Alliance’s ‘Open Science’ MOOC now offers videos, computer graphics, exercises and texts on the subject of scientific integrity. The course duration remains unchanged at 8 hours and gives students the opportunity to obtain a training certificate.
As a reminder, the MOOC is bilingual (French, English), concise, dynamic and deals with very tangible subjects like publications, research data, assessment, etc. Researchers from diverse backgrounds including Science, the HSS and Health are interviewed. The course aims to teach students to:
- understand the details of Open Science principles and issues;
- use a range of tools and approaches to open up their research projects;
- anticipate future developments in practices and regulations regarding the dissemination of scientific knowledge;
- encourage thought about research, PhDs and the relationship between science and society.
