Launch of the survey on Higher Education and Research contributions to the Open Source software ecosystem
The Committee for Open Science’s Software and Source Codes College is launching a survey to find out more about the French Higher Education and Research (ESR) sector’s contributions to the Open Source Software ecosystem. This survey used and adapted surveys run by Linux Foundation Europe in Europe and worldwide, restricting the survey’s scope to public sector research in France.
The survey results will be used to define how French ESR contributions to the OSS ecosystem could be recognised and valued more effectively in the careers of ESR personnel.
This survey is available in French and English and is aimed at the entire Higher Education and Research community:
