Completed
Translations and Open Science
The aim of this project is to explore the possibilities offered by translation technologies, in order to promote the multilingualism in scientific production, in line with the commitments made in the second National Plan for Open Science. It was initiated by a working group within the Committee for Open Science in 2020. Coordinated by OPERAS research infrastructure, it consists of a series of studies and workshops aimed at studying the feasibility of a shared scientific translation service, combining technologies, digital and linguistic resources and human expertise. It is supported by the French Ministry of Culture (The General Delegation for the French Language and the Languages of France).
