Reports of the Academy of Sciences
The Académie des sciences, adhering wholeheartedly to the incentives carried by the 2018 National Plan for Open Science, wished to evolve the publishing of its Proceedings in line with these principles. The seven disciplinary journals that constitute them are thus disseminated in open access diamond since January 1, 2020.

Components of the projet
Making all the articles of the seven disciplinary series of the Comptes Rendus de l’Académie des Sciences immediately and permanently available in open access, in digital form, free of charge for readers and the authors, and allow their reuse under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license.
Major resuts
- Setup of an article management platform (submission, review, copyediting) through the open source software Open Journal System
- Setup of an operational website dedicated to six of the seven series of Comptes Rendus, inclusion of the Palevol series within the SciencePress website of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle
- 100% of the Compte Rendus articles are published in diamond open access (free of charge for readers and authors)
- Number of articles published in the seven series since their transition to diamond open access:
- 385 in 2020
- 414 in 2021
