Open Education Global 2021

Conférence

The annual Open Education Global conference is trying something new in 2021 by focusing the entire conference on the UNESCO OER Recommendation. We aim to engage the global open education community in actions associated with all five action areas of the UNESCO OER Recommendation – Capacity Building, Policy, Access, Sustainability, and International Cooperation. We hope you’ll join us in this global community effort

The Open Education Global 2021 conference starts with an Online Conference taking place over five days from Monday September 27 to Friday October 1. Each day will focus on a different UNESCO OER Recommendation action area. Through webinars and interactive sessions, participants will contribute ideas to help with the implementation of the Recommendation.

The 2021 Open Education Global Conference concludes with a three day in-person Congress 5-7-Oct in Nantes France. Specialized and thematic sessions, side events comprising stakeholders from different projects or initiatives, learning labs and more will take place over the three days. Rapporteurs will give reports on outputs from the online conference which will serve as inputs to the Congress providing a starting point to discussions from which practical recommendations will be proposed and adopted.
